The purchase was made on a hunch in 2008 that the leather tee with boxy proportions would be a wardrobe staple someday. Lies, lies, lies - it was a whim purchase and it worked in my favour, okay? Now back off.
The "hunch" has served me well but also created a monster. I'm forever looking to upgrade and expand the leather category in my wardrobe and am currently on the hunt for a buttery soft white tee. And some shorts to match. And more pants. Or a skirt? And in tan too. Or in burgundy? Something cobalt, definitely cobalt. I think a dress too?
Aaaaand, focus...
I hear Winston Wolfe is a great place to start but if you know where else I could be looking, let me in on the action. Thanks.
Now, speaking of action, these Neuw denim skinnies have been getting a lot of it. Woah, woah, woah Dirty Gerties...not that kind of "action", [I have three kids. I'm done with that "action"] I'm talking high rotation wardrobe action. But if you are in the market for some "action", I'd say these jeans would serve you well.
PSA: play it safe.
If you're not in search of "action" these will still do you well for your day-to-day-to-night-to-day standard action. Just do the freezer thing to keep them fresh as a daisy.
You can get a pair of Neuw denim here or here but will need to bring your own action.
Last things last, can we all give a round of applause to the return of the chunky 90s sandal. My obsession started with Marques Almeida's S/S 12 collection and worsened by S/S 13. The Windsor Smith version will do me just fine - sans the tassel fwanging about on the ankle strap - and in all seriousness, I'm hanging out for winter so I can chuck a pair of black socks on with these. Seriously.
